These General Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through www.shopofcomics.com.
By placing an order on our website, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these General Terms & Conditions, together with our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Legal Notice.

Shop of Comics is a Belgian sole proprietorship selling comic books, collectible items, figurines, statues and related collector products.
2. Products
We make every reasonable effort to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible.
Many products sold by Shop of Comics are collectible items. Some may be rare, limited, numbered, vintage, out of production or second-hand. The product page will indicate the relevant condition and characteristics where applicable, such as:
> condition of the item;
> presence of original box;
> presence of certificate;
> numbering or limited edition information;
> visible defects or imperfections;
> dimensions, material and brand/publisher.
3. Prices
All prices shown on the website are in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.
Shipping costs are not included in the product price, unless clearly indicated. Shipping costs are shown during checkout before the customer confirms the order.
Shop of Comics reserves the right to correct obvious errors in prices, descriptions or product information. If such an error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer as soon as possible.
4. Orders and contract formation
By placing an order through the website, the customer makes a binding offer to purchase the selected products.
The order is accepted by Shop of Comics when the customer receives an order confirmation or when the goods are dispatched.
Shop of Comics reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of stock errors, obvious pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment issues or other legitimate reasons. If payment has already been made, the customer will be refunded.
5. Payment
Payment must be made using the payment methods offered during checkout.
The order will only be processed after payment has been received or confirmed.
The available payment methods may vary depending on the customer’s country and the order value.
6. Shipping and delivery
Orders are usually prepared and dispatched within 1–4 business days after payment has been received.
We ship with trusted carriers such as Bpost, PostNL or another suitable carrier, depending on the destination, parcel size, weight and value of the order.
Delivery times depend on the destination country and the carrier. Estimated delivery times are mentioned in our Shipping Policy.
Once the parcel has been dispatched, the customer will receive tracking information where available.

7. Receipt of goods and transport damage
The customer is asked to inspect the parcel upon delivery.
If the package is visibly damaged, we recommend that the customer:
> asks the carrier to record the damage, if possible;
> takes clear photos of the outside packaging before opening it;
> takes photos of the item and inner pack aging if damage is found;
> contacts Shop of Comics as soon as possible at info@shopofcomics.com.
These steps help us handle a claim with the carrier. They do not affect the customer’s statutory consumer rights.
8. Right of withdrawal
Consumer customers have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days from the day they receive the goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, the customer must contact Shop of Comics by email and clearly state their wish to withdraw from the purchase.
After notifying us of the withdrawal, the customer must return the goods within 14 days.
The direct cost of returning the goods is paid by the customer, unless agreed otherwise.

9. Return conditions
Returned items must be sent back complete and in the same condition as received.
For collectible items, this includes, where applicable:
> the original box;
> certificate of authenticity;
> numbered plaques or labels;
> accessories;
> protective packaging;
> all original parts belonging to the item.
The customer may inspect the item as they would in a physical shop. If the item is handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, or if it is returned damaged, incomplete or with missing collector elements, Shop of Comics may deduct the loss in value from the refund.
10. Refunds
Once the returned item has been received and checked, Shop of Comics will process the refund using the original payment method, unless agreed otherwise.
The refund includes the purchase price and the standard delivery cost. Additional delivery costs, such as express shipping or special delivery options chosen by the customer, may not be refunded.
Shop of Comics may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the customer has provided proof of return shipment.
11. Legal guarantee
The statutory legal guarantee applies to consumer purchases.
For new consumer goods, the legal guarantee applies for 2 years from delivery.
For second-hand goods, the legal guarantee may be limited to 1 year, provided this is clearly stated before purchase.v
This legal guarantee covers lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery, in accordance with applicable Belgian and European consumer law.
The legal guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper handling, misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear, or damage caused after delivery by the customer.
12. Damaged, incorrect or defective items
If an order arrives damaged, incomplete, incorrect or defective, the customer should contact Shop of Comics as soon as possible at info@shopofcomics.com and include:
> order number;
> clear photos of the item;
> photos of the packaging and shipping box;
> a short description of the issue.
Shop of Comics will review the situation and provide an appropriate solution, such as repair, replacement, refund or another agreed solution, in accordance with applicable consumer law.
13. Pre-orders
If pre-orders are offered, the estimated release date is based on information from the manufacturer or supplier and may change.
A pre-order is only shipped after the item has been received by Shop of Comics.
If a pre-ordered item becomes unavailable, Shop of Comics will inform the customer and refund any payment already received for that item.
14. Customs, duties and import taxes
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or local charges may apply.
These costs are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the customer, unless stated otherwise.
Shop of Comics is not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures.
15. Liability
Shop of Comics is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data or other consequential damages, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Nothing in these General Terms & Conditions limits or excludes the statutory rights of consumer customers.
16. Force majeure
Shop of Comics is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as strikes, transport disruptions, natural events, war, fire, technical failures, supplier delays, government measures or other force majeure events.v
If such an event affects an order, Shop of Comics will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible.
17. Intellectual property
All content on the website, including texts, photos, product descriptions, layout elements and logos, is protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
Product names, character names, brand names, logos and trademarks mentioned on the website remain the property of their respective owners. They are used only to identify the products offered for sale.
Any reproduction, distribution or unauthorized use of the website content is prohibited without prior written consent from Shop of Comics.

Shop of Comics processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

20. Applicable law
These General Terms & Conditions are governed by Belgian law.
For consumer customers, this choice of law does not affect the mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the law of the customer’s country of residence.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.
21. Changes to these General Terms & Conditions
Shop of Comics may update these General Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version applicable to an order is the version available on the website at the time the order is placed.
