This charming Tintin resin statue, titled “Tintin at Home”, belongs to the Icons collection and depicts Tintin seated comfortably in his red armchair, reading Voyages aux Amériques, while Snowy sleeps peacefully at his feet. The scene is inspired by The Broken Ear, where Tintin investigates the theft of a sacred tribal object from the Museum of Ethnography and begins researching the land of the Arumbayas for his report.
Produced in 2018 by Hergé / Moulinsart, this polychrome resin piece measures approximately 16.5 cm high and was released in a limited edition of 1,500 numbered copies. The statue is especially attractive for Tintin collectors, fans of Hergé’s storytelling, and collectors of official Moulinsart editions.
Its limited production, narrative connection to a classic Tintin adventure, and peaceful domestic composition make it a distinctive and desirable piece. The statue is in mint/new condition. The original box is present and in perfect condition, the numbering is applied directly to the statue, and the numbered certificate of authenticity is also included.
